The Ribbon Used on the "Spring is Here" card, is brand new seam binding ribbon. We just put out gorgeous colors for you to add to your spring cards. Best of all it's just .39 a yard. It makes awesome bows and you can glimmer mist it for a different look.

National Scrapbook Day Registration Open

We are celebrating National Scrapbook Day with a weekend of cropping!

Friday April 30, 6pm-2am

Saturday May 1, 10am-2am

Sunday May 2, 10am-5pm

Goody bags, prizes, page kits, shopping discounts and lots of cropping!

There will be goody bags for each person attending. There will also be lots of great prizes that will be given away. We will be doing tickets again. Each person will receive a ticket in their goody bag and will have several opportunities to earn more tickets throughout the weekend. We will draw these tickets for prizes, so the more you have, the better your chances of winning! You will also have the opportunity to win more than one prize! You will earn a ticket for bringing a snack to share.

Retreat Weekend

The February Weekend Retreat will be Friday, Feb 26, 6pm-2am, Saturday, Feb 27, 10am-2am, Sunday, Feb 28, 10am-5pm. Don't forget you get a 10% discount on crop weekends! Bring a snack to share. Retreat fee $35.

Page of the Month for March "Lucky Me"

Saturday, March 6th, 9:30am or 2:00pm

This month's page of the month will feature Basic Grey's new Origins Collection! We will be using the new I-top tool by Imaginisce, canvas tags, Tim Holtz Ideology, velvet leaves, and Kraft journaling squares. We will be making our own paper flowers and brads! Please let me know as soon as you can if you would like the morning or afternoon class. Taught by Holli, Melody and Gina. More details to follow!

CHA Excitement

We are so excited about all the new goodies we have been seeing and ordering from the recent CHA show. We will have new items on the way from lots of your favorites, including: Basic Grey, Fancy Pants, Pink Paislee, Maya Road, Tattered Angels, Bo Bunny, Tim Holtz and so many more! The new Tim Holtz line is so extensive that I would love to get an idea of what you may be interested in. If you let me know soon that there is something(s) you would like to preorder, I will be sure to get that taken care of for you. I will be carrying some of the line, but with so many new offerings, I won't have it all in stock. Items are due to ship mainly between now and March, with the new electric die cutter available this summer.

The transparencies and gears are so neat. There are even vinyl cuts to put on walls and notebooks.

Photo Opportunities for January

Welcome to 2010...Remember to set a day each week or so to check and charge your camera batteries. There is nothing worse than going to your camera bag only to find a dead camera. So let's make it a routine to clean it, check it and have it with us at all times. We have important moments to document and photo opps every day. So if you plan to take a daily photo, weekly photos or special events you will be ready.

Have you gotten some snow pictures? We have a great paper line, Frosted by Fancy Pants, that's perfect for all that snowy fun. We will be posting some layouts in our slider soon.

January is National :
Hobby Month - Make a layout about your hobby/hobbies
Volunteer Blood Donor Month - Make a layout with some of the fun Twilight inspired papers
Soup and Tea Month - Take some comfort food photos and scrap about your favorites
Radio Month - Take note of everyone's favorite songs and do a music and lyrics page
Letter Writting Month - Write a letter to yourself or your kids in your scrapbook to be read in the future. Write about your interests, books, movies, music, clothes and trends of this time period. Take several photos of around the house with these things in them. It will be fun to look back later and reflect on how times change.

Choose a spot for a monthly photo. I take one from my back door each month. It can be the kids leaving for school, your favorite place in the yard or out a window. Just remember to take it in the same spot. It's fun to see the transitions from month to month.

Sneek Peeks

Indian Summer 2 page layout has beautiful texture and is part of our regular season of classes with papers and embellishments from Basic Grey. Class is January 14.
