Bag Buffet October 3rd-6th

Come make this double pocket treat bag. It's a great way to hand out treats, gift cards and party favors. Once you learn the "Trick" you can make lots of "Treats". They are 2 for $6 and everything is ready for you just bring your 3 in 1 glue or favorite double sided adhesive.

Fast and Fabulous

Join us September 26-29 for Fast and Fabulous... A quick $10 layout that you can do anytime during business hours or we have kits available for you to grab if you can not stay. This month we have a boy kit or a girl kit available suitable for many ages.

Card Cafe

Today is the last day for card cafe officially. If there are any kits left we will put them on our kit wall. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Baseball and Softball Layout

New ball layout class... Just let us know if you want baseball or softball. Class is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14th at 6:00pm and is just $15

Bag Buffet

Join us starting today - August 8th through Saturday August 11th during regular business hours for Bag Buffet. This can be stamped and made for a teacher or any "back to schooler"

Make this great little treat bag and fill it with items for your special someone. We have lots of ideas to help you with that.

Cookbook Class

The cookbook class is filling up and there are only a couple of spots left. Be sure your name is on the list and reserve your spot. It's going to be a great keepsake and lots of fun!

Wow!  Can't believe it's August already...it seems summer just started.  Hope everyone is staying cool.  This record heat is just awful.  But it will soon be September, so hopefully cooler temps will be here soon as well.  Speaking of summer....we had some amazing kids in our kids Scrap Camp this summer!!  We had so much fun creating some amazing projects.  A special thank you to Nancy Enabnit for teaching our Scrap Camp this summer!  All of the projects we made are on display here at the store for you all to see.

School will be starting soon.  My boys go back to school on August 16th.  Next week starting Wednesday, the 8th, we will have a Teacher Survival Kit/Back to School Bag Buffet.  We will make cute little bags with school papers and embellishments.  You can either give one to your child's teacher or just make one for your kids as a little starting back to school gift.

We updated the August calendar this morning, so hop on over to see what fun and exciting things we will be doing this month.  We will be doing a Baseball/Softball class to get you started on getting all your summer baseball and softball pictures in your scrapbooks!  We are also doing the recipe book on the 25th.  A great jump start on Christmas gifts!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!  Just wanted to let everyone know what was coming up this week.  Fast and Fabulous will start Wednesday and run through Saturday or while supplies last.  It is a birthday themed layout using Bo Bunny's new collection, Alora.  Remember this layout is only $10!  Just bring your basic kit in anytime during store hours.

Also, Page of the Month is Friday morning at 10:30 and Saturday morning at 10:00.  We are using Basic Grey's new collection, PB & J.  This collection is so cute, fresh, and summery!!  You will love it!

Page of the Month Date Change!

Due to shipping problems, we are having to change the dates for Page of the Month. We will have class next Friday, March 23rd at 10:30 and Saturday, March 24th at 10:00. So sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! You will love the layout, however! We are using some of the new My Mind's Eye Bright Side for the class!

This week....Come by to make 2 cards for only $5. Our card cafe is open during regular business hours. You can pick from Happy Birthday and Thank You. These are super easy and cute and will be great to have when you need a card to send to someone special!

We have been getting freight in almost everyday! It's like Christmas around here! Can't wait for you to see all the great new stuff we are getting in! See you soon....there's freight waiting to be unpacked!

Food, friends and fun...we had a great time at tonight's reveal. My Mind's Eye has had some beautiful paper lines in the past, but this may be our new favorite! There is definitely something for everyone. If you didn't get to come by tonight there is still lots to see and we have it all on display with layouts and cards made. We will be working with this paper line on lots of new projects too.

Besides the wind, I am loving the nice weather! Bring on Spring.....

What's going on this week? We are working very hard to get ready for the My Mind's Eye Reveal Night on Thursday! We are trying to get some layouts and cards done to showcase these great lines. And great they are...Can't wait for you all to see them in person. Details will be on the blog either today or tomorrow, and we will send out an email.

Wednesday night is the Quick and Classy class. We will be doing the 4 page Simple Stories Birthday layouts. We just got in the new Simple Stories Fabulous and Awesome. And the names hold true to the lines! Documented will be here very soon as well!

We also received Bella Blvd Spring/Easter and new Echo Park! We are getting new stuff in daily, so stop in to check it all out!

Spring is just around the corner!! I am loving these warm days!

Just an update on all the new products coming in! We have received My Mind's Eye...hope to see you all at reveal night on Thursday, March 8th!! You will not be disappointed in these great collections! We have also received new Echo Park, Bella Blvd, and Simple Stories. We are getting freight in almost daily, so we will be filling up the store with new, great products!!

Tomorrow is the School Portrait Pages Book at 9:00am. This class uses the Simple Stories School line. These pages will be perfect for all those school portraits. They will go from Pre-K through Senior! Yea...I can finally get all those pics out of the envelopes and onto some pages!

What a crazy week! Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day! We still have some of the great Kissing Booth paper left by Basic Grey. I have made 3 more 1 page layouts with it. Not all are Valentine's, so keep in mind you can use that paper for anything!

My youngest also had a birthday this week...can't believe Damon is 11! Just where does the time go?

We have the layout ready for Fast and Fabulous! This will start next Thursday and run through Saturday. The cost is only $10 for this double page layout! Come check it out!

New product will begin to arrive next week. We have ordered My Mind's Eye Kraft Funday Happy Day and Everyday, Miss Caroline, Follow Your Heart, and On the Bright Side! I can't wait for all of it to get here!!! Bo Bunny is also ordered and should ship very soon. Watch for Country Garden, Alora, and Weekend Market. On The Go and new Vintage Double Dot will also be shipping soon.

I am also getting new Heidi Swapp, Echo Park, Bella Blvd, Simple Stories, American Crafts, Tim Holtz, and much more!! All the new products coming are so awesome! Can't wait for them all to arrive!

CHA is over, and I'm so excited about all the new stuff! I am ordering new product, and hopefully it should be arriving soon! Newsletter should go out today with all the upcoming classes for February! You can also click the calendar link for all the information. This coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday is the card class. We will be making 2 cards and a tag. Oh so cute!!

We are also doing a Bag Buffet. We made these cute Valentine bags, perfect for friends, co-workers, kids, or just anyone. We will have the supplies on hand for you to make them. The first bag, which includes candy and instruction, will be only $5. You can then pick up more supplies for to make more. The extra bags will be $3 and will not include candy, or you can pick your own paper to make more. The Bag Buffet will start Friday, Feb 3rd and run through Valentine's Day!! You can stop in anytime during regular store hours.

Quick and Easy Valentine Card

We recently visited with a local PEO group about several of the store offerings and classes. It was such a nice group of woman and a wonderful lunch. We gave a quick and easy Valentine card as a goodie bag for them to make. Everything was precut, but if you would like to make your own card it's easy to do.

Take a 12x12 sheet of hot pink Bazzill cardstock and cut 3 - 4x12 sections

Take one 4x12 section and from the left score at 4.5 and 10

The front love paper is 3.75x4.25 cut and adhear using a tape runner

The inside solid light pink is 3.75x5.25 cut and adhear using a tape runner

Small rectangle piece of hot pink 2x2.75 cut

Small printed rectangle 1.75x2.5 cut

Using foam tape near the edges adhear the two small rectangles together

Run fun fur fiber around the edge between the two rectangles and tie

Use foam tape on the left side of the back rectangle to leave room for the flap to tuck under and adhear to the front of your card

Add some bling to your design

Tuck the right side 2" flap under the rectangle piece and your done
