"New"... Our Year-Long Double "Page of the Month" Class:
We are so excited to bring a new series of classes to you.
Join us as we create a double page layout each month using all the newest, latest and greatest products. This way you are sure to complete an entire album this year full of fun memories while learning lots of new techniques along the way. Also, if you attend all 12 classes, you will receive a 50% discount on any album of your choice to put all your pages in. The first in this series will be our "Let It Snow" snowman layout on January 23. (see details below)

"Christmas" 2 Double Page Christmas Layouts:
Saturday, January 9, 2:00 - 4:00 PM
These super cute layouts will feature Pink Paislee's Mistletoe & Co. and Crate Paper's North Pole collections. You will receive lots of extra goodies to use on other projects including chipboard letters and shapes and go home with 4 pages done!

Indian Summer "Fall" Double Page Layout:
Thursday, January 14, 5:30 - 7:30 PM
Featuring Basic Grey this layout is rich with color, texture and design.
Again you will receive lots of extra chipboard and other goodies to use on other projects.

"Let It Snow" Layout:
Saturday, January 23, 10:00 AM
Featuring the Fancy Pants collection, this layout is perfect for all your winter photos. You will learn some new techniques as we work with Tim Holtz's Grungepaper, Crackle Paint, and Distress Inks as well as transparencies, stickles, and the new Flower Soft.
Bring basic supplies as well as the following if you have them: Distress Inks in these colors: Weathered Wood, Orange Marmalade, Black Soot, Walnut Stain; vellum spray, Tim Holtz scissors, and liquid glue or the Flower Soft glue.
Class fee $21.00

We will be making four fabulous Valentine cards featuring Fancy Pants Vintage Valentine collection and Pink Paislee's Cupid collection.

Photo Opportunities for December

Remember to check and charge your camera batteries this weekend. We do not want to miss any photos of family and friends that may come by. This is a great time to figure out the macro setting on your camera and put it to good use for the little details of Christmas time.

The macro symbol usually looks like this

Try it out on some ornaments or decorations around the house. Remember your camera has a minimum focusing distance. That means you can only get so close to something without it going out of focus. If you are using your zoom, you may have to back up just a little. You will get used to your camera with some practice. Some cameras have a super macro too. That one lets you get really close, sometimes within about an inch of something. Remember to take your camera out of the macro setting when you start taking regular distance photos and snapshots of the family.

I have also ordered the new "Frosted" and "Vintage Valentine" collections from Fancy Pants, as well as "Cupid" from Pink Paislee. Also, I am pre-ordering the 2 newest lines from Basic Grey..."Sugar Rush" and "Origins".


We already have classes in the works for January! Watch for Holli's Christmas layout class, which will be 2 double page layouts using Crate Paper and Pink Paislee, Melody and Gina's Indian Summer layout, and a winter layout using crackle paint and flower soft! And, of course, Melody's fabulous card classes!!

I just love Fall! And now that we have received Basic Grey's Indian Summer, it's just that much better!! It is so beautiful, and I can't wait to make some great Fall layouts with it. We have also gotten in the re-order for the Basic Grey Eerie Halloween collection. This is their first Halloween release, and it's just amazing!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION from CRATE PAPER!

I have received word from Crate Paper that their Chipboard Accents, Journal Stickers, and Title Stickers have quality issues with the adhesive and are not sticking properly. If you have purchased any of these items here, please bring them in along with your receipt, if possible, and I will replace them for you. I have already received the replacements. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

September is here! School is under way, we're all back to some sort of routine, and hopefully we can find some time for our scrapbooks. I have some new product already arriving that should get us inspired to get back into the swing of things. Bo Bunny Tis the Season, Delilah, Kitchen Spice, and St. Nick is in!! I also have Maya Road, Little Yellow Bicycle, May Arts, We R Memory Keepers, Halloween Thickers, and more!

We have been "Fall Cleaning" and rearranging the store. We stayed Friday night till Midnight getting new things out! I have clearanced a lot of paper and embellishments making room for all the new product coming in. Don't even be surprised at what you might find in the clearance section. I've gone completely crazy! I also have classes scheduled up to December! We have been busy!!

We will be celebrating our Birthday with a "50's Sock Hop" Retreat next weekend. It's going to be so much fun!
